5 of 5 SPR Review May 30, 2019
Reviewer: J from NC
I have been shooting an Insurgent Tactical SPR for a couple of years and I am completely satisfied with the quality and thought that went into the specific build of this SPR. I‘ve fired hundreds of rounds without a malfunction in various weather conditions. I consistently fire sub-MOA patterns with various match-grade ammunition and utilizing a Vortex Viper PST 6–25x50 rifle scope.  This weapon was well conceived with well-manufactured US parts and will serve me well both as a hunting rifle and for home defense.  I would be willing to take this instrument to combat without reservation and bet my life on its consistent performance.  I look forward to purchasing an Enhanced Duty Carbine (EDC) in the future.

While attending a precision rifle training I had the opportunity to test this rifle and immediately realized that this is a quality rifle right out of the box. It took all of the beatings during testing. I then purchased my own for for use on our Rural WV SWAT Team as a mid range overwatch weapon. Ever since then every member of the team has had the opportunity to test it out. It shoots as advertised as sub MOA directly out of the box with no issues. For the money this is a steal and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quality rifle.

5 of 5 A truly great rifle. July 16, 2017
Reviewer: Steve F. from Kernersville, NC
This rifle does everything I could ask for in a 5.56 carbine. The quality is fantastic atany price, and the accuracy exceeds what my old eyes are capable of.
The bolt and bolt carrier are superb. The finish and coating are such that carbon comes off very easily.
The rifle loves IMI 77 grain ammunition. I also fed it IMI 69, Gold-dot 64, M855, and Federal 55. Accuracy was acceptable with everything, but the 77 was the best.
The rail is very strong, with M-lok and Picatinny where needed. Nice to have the qd sockets built in to the rail for a sling.
The Luth-AR stock is very solid. I added qd cups from Luth-ar for sling attachment. They  screw into recesses in the stock. I'm short, so the stock may be a little long if I'm wearing a heavy coat or a vest.
I won't ever need to buy another AR as the SPR does everything I need and more.
John builds a quality tool that shoots even better than it looks. He is great to deal with as well. You won't be disappointed.

5 of 5 SPR July 6, 2017
Reviewer: JB from Mooresville, NC
You simply cant beat the quality of this rifle for the price. This rifle is sub-Moa right out of the box and quickly became my favorite rifle to shoot. It fits a perfect niche for those looking for a little more performance than your standard SPR build without having to shell out big bucks for a "name brand" equivalent. Both the lifetime warranty and knowing I'm supporting a Veteran with the purchase made this a no brainer.

5 of 5 SPR performance May 16, 2017
Reviewer: Jacob from Near Savannah, Georgia
BLUF: rifle is excellent and I would recommend it to family and friends.
Performance:  Accuracy is as advertised. 1 MOA.
Ammunition: It took about 175 rounds (brass) to "break in" the rifle. It will eat brass with zero issues immediately, after the break in it will eat steel and zinc no problem.
Function/Feel: Functional in every way. Rail is unique and has shooter preference qualities, pistol grip is ergonomic, trigger is extremely crisp and again, as advertised. This rifle "feels" and looks like it should be $2,000-$2,500.
Finish: Nice clean finish to every part of the rifle, inside and out.
Customer Service: OUTSTANDING!  The owner/builder has selected each part of the rifle and can give you definitive answers as to why he selected it, and it makes total sense. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. This is a really great rifle that is now #1 in my collection. I will be back to purchase the Carbine in the future!
